RGSM – Wild One
[su_dropcap style=”simple”]D[/su_dropcap]iscover RGSM, a new band that comprises “two dynamic spirits vibing in harmony” – Rachel Alex on keys and vocals and Roger Lanfranchi on percussion. We can’t think of a better way to describe these two: “vibing in harmony” is exactly what you hear when you listen to their music. Their first song “Wild One” is a bouncy, vibrant, ecstasy filled track that oozes happiness and joy. There is a something contagious about the track that keeps you replaying it over and over.
Nuit Oceān – Together Alone
[su_dropcap style=”simple”]N[/su_dropcap]uit Oceān is a Bordeaux-based producer and singer/songwriter with an achingly beautiful voice. “Together Alone” is the second song shared via Soundcloud, following on from “Sometimes” last month. It is a simple but enchanting song combining gentle lyrics with ghostly backing vocals. The accompanying beat is simple and delicate with the unusual addition of a bassy reverberation adding an interesting element to the track. Discover it in this post!
Otherside – Blowback
[su_dropcap style=”simple”]O[/su_dropcap]therside describe themselves as a purely soul, free and electric, Bucharest-born project. The fact that they describe their music as a “project” and “art” just shows how much care and effort goes into the creation of their music. Once you notice how they combine their gentle soulful music with powerfully emotive performances, like in their latest release “Blowback”, you start to understand the “project” and “art” titles.
Me And My Drummer – Easy On Me
[su_dropcap style=”simple”]G[/su_dropcap]erman duo Me and My Drummer, which consists of Charlotte Brandi and Matze Prollochs, have just shared a new music video for their latest track “Easy on Me”. The dream pop duo is renowned for their eerily spooky yet poppy tunes and their new track follows this dimension. It is their latest single from their second LP “Love Is A Fridge”, released via Sinnbus, and it is a wonderful mix of haunting vocals and techno beats which form an unsettling vibe. It is impossible not to dance to! An odd mix; which we love!
SiDizen King – One Day [Prod. by Confessions]
LA-based artist SiDizen King cements his place on many people’s summer mixtape with this hip-hop/deep house mashup “One Day”, that was produced by Confessions. It is an unusual mix which we love over here at Highclouds! Most artists merge between genres but this combination of summery tropical house topped with sugary smooth lyrics is a mixture which has been underexploited so far and one that SiDizen King combines seamlessly.
WASI – Mama’s Gonna Get You
[su_dropcap style=”simple”]T[/su_dropcap]hey’re back! WASI return with their first release since their stunning debut EP “Bleed Pop”. “Mama’s Gonna Get You” is a punky, poppy number which is hard not to like. Despite talking about frustrating issues that surround society WASI fill this song with an energetic and upbeat rhythm that will raise your spirits.
Harry Heart – Flowers (The Retaliation)
[su_dropcap style=”simple”]S[/su_dropcap]omeone is attempting to break your with his latest release “Flowers (The Retaliation)”! Harry Heart binds together personal painful experiences and unleashes all his emotions within this deeply powerful track. The track is an insight into the often tormented world great artists live in but Heart explains that pain can “fuel great music”.
Pure Moods – Blurb
[su_dropcap style=”simple”]P[/su_dropcap]ure Moods are a Melbourne based band who are making waves with their laid-back, nostalgic tunes. The band consist of Adam Madric, Alex Lashlie and Wyatt Knowles and “Blurb” is their first release and it just oozes with relaxed indie lo-fi vibes and that golden-locked surfer feeling you associate with Australia. A kind of Mac DeMarco on a surfboard…
