Danny L Harle and Carly Rae Jepsen‘s collaborative single, “Super Natural”, is out now.
This is what we were craving for! After having played the track in several PC Music-related parties, Danny L Harle has finally unveiled “Super Natural”, his collaborative single with Canadian pop star and indie darling Carly Rae Jepsen. Following up on Caroline Polachek-assisted bop “Ashes Of Love,” it is a second infectious and euphoric banger in a row for the British classically trained producer. According to an interview to The Fader, “Super Natural” was his “first attempt at writing real pop music”. For a prototype, the least we can say is that it sounds more than promising. About the creative process of the track, he also added:
[su_quote]I wrote the melody for “Super Natural” before I had any lyrics in mind, and even at that stage I knew it was going to be an important track for me. I found that the lyrics came to me easily once I had the tune. Carly was always at the top of my list of people who could sing it, but I never envisaged it actually happening! Ever since I heard “Call Me Maybe” she has been one of my dream collaborators. I love her take on the track; her voice has an amazingly positive energy which was essential in giving “Super Natural” a necessary sense of euphoria.[/su_quote]
