“Act Yr Age” is taken from Teen Body‘s upcoming album Dreamo to be unveiled April 12 via Broken Circles.
Following up on the excellent “Validation” that is, by the way, already featured in our Best Tracks of 2019 playlist, Brooklyn’s Teen Body have shared the second single from their upcoming album Dreamo. Like your typical dream-pop song, “Act Yr Age” comes with its share of hazy guitars and distant, melancholic vocals. Between shadow and light, doubt and self-assurance, the subtle yet addictive chorus eventually steps aside to leave room to a misty ending and a confident bassline which metaphorically sounds like a glimmer of hope.
