Francis Novotny‘s first single of 2019, “Blame”, is out on CloudKid.
One year after “The Wire“, Swedish singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Francis Novotny is back with another electro-pop song that draws inspiration from relationship flaws. Singing about the efforts he made to save his couple, the artist combines bare introspections and nocturnal soundscapes in what he describes as a “musical journey”. Turning these hardships into a growing experience, he said of the track:
[su_quote]This is actually a really old song about a pretty dysfunctional relationship between two people, and how it’s important not to blame yourself for stupid things the other person has done; but also not blaming yourself for bad decisions that you made yourself.[/su_quote]
