Combining both warm and modern R&B with a soulful country edge, Kan Wakan has released a new single: “Molasses.” The official video was directed by Simon Benjamin and it notably features Elle Olsun.
It was explained by Wakan that the song was written after his grandmother was taken into hospital. The song was made to be an illustration of hope, as well as the process of noticing the impact of both time and change.
“Molasses” will be featured on the upcoming LP entitled “Phantasmagoria”.
