“Oiseaux Sauvages” is taken from Le Couleur‘s Concorde, out on Lisbon Lux Records.
A few month ago, Montreal’s trio Le Couleur released the deluxe edition of their album Concorde, which features a bunch of new remixes and live versions. Also featured in the first version of the album, released back in 2020, “Oiseaux Sauvages” addresses mental illness through a very personal scope. The dreamy track was inspired by a friend of the band, who started suffering from schizophrenia as a teenager. “Oiseaux Sauvages” has now a stylish visual treatment, courtesy of director Ariel Poupart. Reminiscent of the American indie movie aesthetic, the enigmatic video is a pure moment of autumnal poetry.
