Leeds trio Far Caspian draw from the 80s for resounding “Conversations”

Far Caspian‘s “Conversations” is out now via Dance To The Radio.

Leeds trio Far Caspian follow up on their 2018’s debut EP Between Days with a new track and a new sound. “Conversations”, the first single off their forthcoming sophomore EP, directly draw from the 80s to add a dose of stamina to their idiosyncratic lo-fi melanjolly. About this new direction, their frontman Joel Johnston detailed:

The first EP was about being stuck and not really having an idea of how to fix it, whereas this EP is about breaking out and enjoying your 20’s and trying to figure out the process that comes with it. We’ve always loved 80’s bands and we wanted to get more of that influence in our sound. This whole EP definitely explores that more.
