London-based English-Japanese rapper, singer, and producer Miso Extra follows up to her hyped up debut track “Adventures of Tricky n Duke” with another hybrid offering, “1013.” Melding accordion with laidback hip-hop beats, this new track introduces a darker tone. “It centres around feeling frustrated and disillusioned in regards to the injustices we face in society, and trying to capture the frustration in finding a voice in a world that is obsessed with their digital self,” she stated.
Like “Adventures of Tricky n Duke,” “1013” is taken from the 5-track debut EP, Great Taste, which is set to explore themes such as femininity, female empowerment and being of mixed heritage.
