Mk.gee‘s debut album Two Star and the Dream Police is out February 9.

After making waves for over half a decade with solo EPs and contributions to Dijon‘s LP Absolutely, the multi-talented Mk.gee (aka Michael Gordon) is about to drop his long-awaited debut album, Two Star and the Dream Police.

In Mk.gee‘s inaugural LP, the spotlight shines on Two Star, the mysterious protagonist at the heart of the narrative. Two Star and the Dream Police delves into the nuanced tension between this central character and their adversary, embracing a nuanced mix of explosive minimalism and liminal euphoria. As a tribute to Jersey rock, the album ingeniously infuses the timeless vibes of classic shore rock with a more intense and darker essence.

Coming with this exciting announcement, the artist has also shared the ethereal single “Dream Police,” accompanied by a live video directed by Danica Kleinknecht.
