SAMOUN‘s debut track, “Chakchouka,” is out now.
An enigmatic outlet consisting of two ‘famous’ Parisian producers, SAMOUN are described as “the investigators of the Techno Raï genre”. Their minimalist debut track, “Chakchouka,” recalls indeed the golden age of the French Touch to mind (the beat is reminiscent of Daft Punk‘s “Teachers”) with some oriental vocals. The track also comes with a visualizer featuring images from Bila Houdoud‘s Amarna.
