Say She She announce debut album, share video for title track “Prism”

Say She She‘s debut album Prism is out October 7 via Karma Chief Records/Colemine Records.

Say She She, the Brooklyn-based trio that takes pride in standing up for women’s rights whilst dusting off 70s discodelic soul, have just announced their debut album, Prism. That colourful title doesn’t come as big surprise if you’ve heard the band’s vivid previous singles, such as the excellent “Forget Me Not” or “Blow My Mind”. Unfortunately, none of these tracks is featured on the 8-track record, but the lead single and title track, “Prism”, is just as good. Parker Gazelle, Piya Malik and Sabrina Cunningham have a knack for dreamy melodies and psychedelic and funky arrangements, all of them showcased in this new groovy offering. It also comes with an Alyssa Boni-directed video. Watch and pre-order via Bandcamp below.
