NEW VIDEO: Liima – Amerika
[su_dropcap style=”simple”]W[/su_dropcap]e discovered the Danish electro-pop band Liima some weeks ago and we are getting more and more curious to hear their debut LP “ii” which will be released on March 18th via 4AD. Their track “Amerika” which is, by the way, ranked N°10 in the HighClouds30 this week (+3), has now a Olivier Groulx-directed video.

[su_dropcap style=”simple”]I[/su_dropcap]t is time for you to discover Liima, a new band drawn by 4AD and that will seduce you if you like the idea of a band mixing vocals, complex drums and electronic vibes. It reminds us Battles and Caribou, with a touch from the North. After a year of touring and composing in parallel of four week of residency in different European places, the band is now ready to release a debut album called “ii”. Following this announcement, here is “Amerika”, an impressive and strange first single that definitely caught us.
⚡ Grimes – Art Angels
Two members of the HighClouds team met in order to discuss Grimes‘ new album “Art Angels”, that is out now via 4AD. Here are their thoughts:
Arnaud: Hey Matias, how are you doing?
Matias: I have my mouth full of bio tofu with peanut oil and kale but otherwise, I feel great. Doesn’t it look tasty?
Arnaud: Well, more than you describe it than when I see it flowing along your mouth. But what is important is that is homemade, isn’t it? Like the fourth album of Grimes “Art Angels”, that was released a week ago.
Deerhunter – Living My Life
[su_dropcap style=”simple” size=”1″]D[/su_dropcap]eerhunter‘s seventh album “Fading Frontier” will be available this Friday on 4AD. There are only some days to wait but if you feel too impatient, you can have a look to their new video for their track “Living My Life”.
