[su_dropcap style=”simple”]F[/su_dropcap]or those youngsters who don’t know that New Order are a 80’s band, they have now more proofs. They shared a new video for their track “Singularity” taken from their last album “Music Complete” out last year via Mute

In this video, you can check some footages taken from “B-Movie: Lust & Sound In West-Berlin 1979-1989” where you check all the history of one of the most inspiring cities in the world. All different styles, cultures, music genres were commuting in the same place where a lot of culture were born. New Order were naturally incredibly inspired by all this era.

You can check the film if you click here and the previous single “Tutti Frutti

New Order – Tutti Frutti

[su_dropcap style=”simple”]A[/su_dropcap]merican musician Louis Armstrong said once “Musicians don’t retire : they stop when there is no more music in them”. With examples such as The Pet Shop Boys who just released a new single and are about to release a new album, or late David Bowie who released his latest album “Blackstar” a few days before his death, make us think that Louis Armstrong was more than right. New Order are another great example of this statement since they’ve released a new album last September called “Music Complete” and have now shared their impressive and beautiful video for “Tutti Frutti” proving once again that there is not such thing as a retired musician

Directed by Tom Haines, you can follow in this video an old man going slightly crazy. The video is directed with so many colours and lights, the great beauty hidden in craziness. This is one of two songs where La Roux AKA Elly Jackson does some back-up singing.

[su_dropcap style=”simple”]A[/su_dropcap] long time ago, we were talking about how much we love Day Wave. His very refreshing West Coast indie rock tracks have been kicking pretty hard the radio thanks first to his debut EP “Headcase” and then thanks to his cover of New Order‘s track “Ceremony“. Before starting his tour in Seattle, he made a quick stop at KEXP to play live a few tracks.
