“Real Life” is taken from Acopia's upcoming album, Blush Response, out September 12 on Scenic Route.

Naarm/Melbourne trio Acopia are back with “Real Life,” the third single from their upcoming album Blush Response. If you’ve already had “Talk About It” and “Falter” on repeat, this new one picks up right where they left off: intimate, slow-burning, and emotionally raw.

Acopia‘s “Real Life” came together in a rooftop studio tucked inside a mostly abandoned office building in South Yarra, which already sounds like the perfect setting for a track this moody. Built around a looping, dreamy synth line, it reflects on obsessive love, emotional burnout, and the patterns we fall into without meaning to. The line “Wasting my days / Watch it grow old / Back to default” says it all. It’s soft, raw, and completely absorbing. Their new album Blush Response drops in a few weeks, and they’ll be bringing it to Europe and the UK soon, so don’t miss them if they’re coming your way.

"Falter" is taken from Acopia's upcoming album Blush Response, set to arrive September 12 via the ever-impressive label Scenic Route.

Naarm/Melbourne trio Acopia (Kate Durman, Lachlan McGeehan, and Morgan Wright) are building momentum once again. After turning heads with their recent single “Talk About It,” the group now return with news of their next full-length project: Blush Response.

The upcoming album is a collection of eight tracks that lean into emotional tension—reflecting on distance, the weight of what’s unspoken, and the delicate dance between vulnerability and resilience. According to the press release, it marks a clear evolution for the group, with a sound that feels more immediate, more instinctive, and more emotionally charged.

To accompany the announcement, Acopia have shared a new single, “Falter,” a sharp, anthemic track that captures the trio in a more expansive and confident mode. “It’s more grand than anything we’ve written previously,” they say. “After many iterations, we settled on something anthemic, short and to the point, both lyrically and sonically.”

F.G.S.'s Tinker Bell’s Cough vinyl drops May 27 via Scenic Route.

F.G.S., the sonic alias of Los Angeles-based artist Flannery Silva, is set to release her debut album Tinker Bell’s Cough on vinyl for the first time, via Scenic Route. Co-created with producer Chase Ceglie, the record, originally released in 2024, is a kaleidoscope of Americana, theatrical storytelling, and surreal girlhood, what Silva fittingly calls “fairy tale theatre.” Known for her background in visual art and previous work with Odwalla88, Silva blends performance, sculpture, and songwriting into her singular creative world.

The upcoming vinyl press offers fans a deeper look into that world as it includes the exclusive live recording “Passions (Live at Tinker Bell’s Clubhouse)” and newly remastered tracks that shimmer with mythic longing and playful weirdness. The album is steeped in character-driven narratives, drawing from literary influences and fantasy archetypes to conjure a soundscape where Tinker Bell might just whisper lullabies to God.

Also arriving with the reissue is a brand-new single: “The Punisher (Tinker Bell’s Edit).” It’s a cinematic road anthem that channels loneliness into revelation. “It’s about driving north on I-5 in California, worrying my car will overheat, bargaining with God, and falling in love with dust tornados,” Silva shares.

Listen to the new single and order via Bandcamp below.

Marina Zispin's new album Now You See Me, Now You Don’t, drops March 7 via Scenic Route.

Marina Zispin, aka Bianca Scout and Martyn Reid, continue their hypnotic dive into liminality with “Deep Blue,” the latest single from their upcoming album Now You See Me, Now You Don’t. The track follows up to previously released singles, “Penthouse Samba,” “The Tudors,” and “The Bells.”

Known for their ice-cold synth-pop textures, the duo crafts a sound both melancholic and surreal. “Deep Blue” echoes the spectral beauty of their earlier work, with Scout’s opaque lyricism floating over Reid’s pristine production. The track’s origins? A nighttime walk, a fleeting vocal idea, and Bianca Scout’s ethereal reinterpretation, resulting in a song that’s as enigmatic as it is entrancing. Listen to the Now You See Me, Now You Don’t highlight below.

Synth-pop duo Marina Zispin (Bianca Scout + Martyn Reid) have announced their return in 2025 with a new album, Now You See Me, Now You Don’t, out March 7.
