[su_dropcap style=”simple”]L[/su_dropcap]os Angeles-based young rapper Wil$on is just 22 years old but his potential is pretty obvious. After one year of activity on Soundcloud, which has progressively brought him from the underground scene to new audiences, the artist is ready to release his upcoming mixtape “S.O.S”. The first single “Hot”, which was produced by his regular fellas Cook&Jango and that already sounds more mature, is un uplifting and catchy way to get to know this new upcoming project. So if you like the pre-Kardashian Kanye West and Vic Mensa, you should definitely check on him!
When the artist talks about his music, he says:
[su_quote]It comes from the heart, I can’t just half ass a song I have to feel everything I do and it has to come from some place of emotion. My biggest influence is Kanye West especially his early work when he was rapping about everyday struggles.[/su_quote]
By the way, “Hot” entered the HighClouds30, our weekly charts of the hottest tracks that we release every Sunday, at the 27th rank this week. Check the full #HC30 of this week here.
“S.O.S” will be the official follow-up to his “93 EP”, a 5-track project that was supported by the single “92” that you can listen to below and purchase here on iTunes.
