“Crayon Cactus” is the opening track of Young Ejecta‘s upcoming album Ride Lonesome, due out June 26 on Driftless Recordings.
It has been a long time since we had news from Young Ejecta, the Brooklyn synth-pop project comprising Leanne Macomber and Joel Ford. But the wait is now over… Three years after the amazing “Build A Fire”, they have just returned with a new track, “Crayon Cactus”, which also announces the release of a brand new album.
Navigating romance in our modern capitalist world, “Crayon Cactus” also comes with a lush and symbolic video, courtesy of director Eric Epstein. The amazing set design and costumes are provided by Michael Hili. Watch below and pre-order the project via Bandcamp.
