Canadian artist Adrian Underhill continues exploring the limits between neo-soul and pop music in his Kindness-assisted new single “Weather”.
After moving from Montreal to Toronto, the artist started looking for a way to showcase his different inspirations and experiences. Who is better than Kindness on bringing different sounds together? In the smooth R&B-infused track, the duo could bring the best of each other, capturing the essence of our generation: a melting-pot of backgrounds, becoming just one. About working together, Adrian Underhill stated:
[su_quote]I really love how the production came out on this song. Adam Bainbridge (Kindness) took my original demo and just kinda warped it and morphed it, almost like a remix, adding new drums and changing the keyboard sounds I had played. Then we added the live piano and synth bass from Brandon Coleman and Keith Eaddy. In the end it’s quite playful and strange – it’s a great combination of sounds.[/su_quote]
