“Opened Close” is the opening track of object blue‘s new multimedia EP, Grotto, out March 5 via London’s label TT.
Three years after her breakthrough EP Do you plan to end a siege?, Tokyo-born, London-based object blue returns on Tobago Tracks with an ambitious audio-visual project, Grotto, which will navigate both “lushness and macabre”. The visuals, that were created by her wife and creative partner Natalia Podgórska, will be unveiled during a virtual online show. The Chinese experimental dance producer has already unveiled the ceremonial, synth-heavy opener, “Opened Close.” A dramatic intro to something probably even more exciting.
