Sonoda‘s meditative new single, “Purpose,” is out now.
Los Angeles lullaby pop quartet Sonoda (named after their front woman Lisa Sonoda) return with another dreamy and reflective new single, “Purpose.” When you get older, and reach the middle of your life, you start to evaluate your own path, your actions, and your legacy. What will I leave behind? What impact did I have on people’s life? It’s this existential substance that permeates “Purpose,” an other-worldly track with swirling synths and evanescent guitars. If “Purpose” doesn’t offer any answers, it promises at least a very trippy meditation.
