“Closer” is taken from Makthaverskan‘s new album, För Allting, out November 12 on Run For Cover.
After the anthemic “This Time,” already featured in our Best Tracks of 2021, Makthaverskan have shared a second single off of För Allting. The track is not as soaring as some of their previous offerings – it’s somehow reminiscent of Alvvays at times – but Maja Milner‘s relentless hooks still reach dizzying heights. Even in the quieter moments, their dreamscapes always deliver something very intense and cathartic. And it works every time.
Arnaud, a passionate music enthusiast from France, now based in Madrid, founded HighClouds in 2015.
