“Happy Happy” is taken from Caroline Loveglow‘s debut album, Strawberry, out February 25 on 100% Electronica.
This Summer, we introduced you to the dreamy world of Caroline Loveglow, a San Diego up and coming artist who made quite an impression with her debut single “Patience Etc…”. After a series of gigs with her label mates George Clanton and Negative Gemini, as well as with Magdalena Bay, she announces today her debut album. Alongside this exciting news, she also unveils the Cocteau Twins-esque “Happy Happy” and a chatroulette styled music video, that fits so well the aesthetics of 100% Electronica.
“‘Happy Happy’ is an ode to escapism,” she explains. “I started building the track with the main guitar line, stayed awake all night until I had the demo completed and a version of what I was hearing in my head. I just wanted the song to feel like this momentous release that I never got to experience in my real life at the time.”
