⚡ Danny Brown – When It Rain

Yes, Danny Brown raps with more energy than anyone else on the planet. You can be sure that the next song with be as animated as the last. It comes as no surprise that his latest effort “When It Rain” continues the tradition. Fresh off of signing to Warp Records, Brown is back with a Mimi Cave-directed video that presents the lead single for his first album since 2013’s “Old.”

The song wastes no time, jumping straight into the first high-octane verse. He weaves in and out of stories detailing the struggles of his upbringing with an irreverent spirit. He’s dedicated to rapping like he can hardly wait to get the next word out. There’s a ridiculous number of syllables crammed into every line. The song follows a similar structure as other rap songs, but the final product sounds like another thing altogether.
