DESIRE‘s new track, “Escape,” is out via Italians Do It Better.
Montreal’s trio DESIRE follow up on their cover of New Order‘s “Bizarre Love Triangle” with another italo-inflected banger, “Escape”. “I can’t escape the maze in my head,” sings Megan Louise in this surprisingly cheerful song about suffocating love. The gleaming track is the latest release coming from the iconic Italians Do It Better studios. No need to mention that it is produced by the collective’s guru, Johnny Jewel, whose idiosyncratic arrangements work wonder once again.
