Fame Hunter blends synthpop with High Fashion escapism on “Disappear”

"Disappear" is the first single taken from Fame Hunter's upcoming self-titled debut EP, out June 6 via Icon Recs.

Fame Hunter is an electronic pop duo from Copenhagen, made up of Siggy Sonne (he/him) and Heva Vaupel (she/her). What started as a fictional band for an Adidas Originals campaign quickly turned into a full-fledged musical project, one where gritty warehouse rave energy meets the glamorous world of high fashion. With ties to fashion label Icon Visions and a striking debut at Nicklas Skovgaard’s Copenhagen Fashion Week show, Fame Hunter thrives at the intersection of music, art, and style.

Now, they’re ready to chase fame, like for real. They’ve just unveiled “Disappear”, the first single from their upcoming self-titled debut EP, out June 6. The track is a pulsing club-pop anthem driven by antihero synths, eurobass, and heavy techno kicks — all serving as a dark, dazzling stage for Siggy Sonne’s hypnotic vocals. ‘Disappear’ captures the bittersweet rush of losing yourself in a love that’s both real and dreamlike, echoing the existential glamour of their influences: Baudelaire, Gregg Araki’s Nowhere, and iconic 00’s runway shows.
