F.G.S., the sonic alias of Los Angeles-based artist Flannery Silva, is set to release her debut album Tinker Bell’s Cough on vinyl for the first time, via Scenic Route. Co-created with producer Chase Ceglie, the record, originally released in 2024, is a kaleidoscope of Americana, theatrical storytelling, and surreal girlhood, what Silva fittingly calls “fairy tale theatre.” Known for her background in visual art and previous work with Odwalla88, Silva blends performance, sculpture, and songwriting into her singular creative world.
The upcoming vinyl press offers fans a deeper look into that world as it includes the exclusive live recording “Passions (Live at Tinker Bell’s Clubhouse)” and newly remastered tracks that shimmer with mythic longing and playful weirdness. The album is steeped in character-driven narratives, drawing from literary influences and fantasy archetypes to conjure a soundscape where Tinker Bell might just whisper lullabies to God.
Also arriving with the reissue is a brand-new single: “The Punisher (Tinker Bell’s Edit).” It’s a cinematic road anthem that channels loneliness into revelation. “It’s about driving north on I-5 in California, worrying my car will overheat, bargaining with God, and falling in love with dust tornados,” Silva shares.
