Freja – White Magic Spells

[su_dropcap style=”simple” size=”1″]A[/su_dropcap] while now that danish singer FREJA has been under my sight and she has now released her debut EP “White Magic Spells”. Mixing alternative pop with electro-rock sounds, this EP contains 4 songs, one of them being a remix from Lincoln Jesser

The first time Freja got into my head was thanks to the amazing single “Young Hearts” that has been hitting the radio for a while now. Straight-forward pop music in your way, the song is VERY catchy and it is going to stick in your head for looong.

She has now revealed the two last tracks from the EP where she explores a more alternative indie part without forgetting her roots as a pop singer. “Lonely” is a down-tempo ballad that could sound like every 80s love song. “Ashes” is more up-tempo reminding me a little bit of a sound that Blondie could have made.
