London-based quartet Hugh will unveil their debut album “Love, Hugh” on May 24th. As a little taste, just before the release, they share the incredibly intoxicating “Go”.
Highlighting the vocals by Joshua Idehen and Izzy Brooks, the entire track is ready for you to dance. The track mixes electronic sounds, with futuristic-infused synths and organic guitars, being the perfect illustration of the genre-blending era that we are living in. About the writing-process of the track, Izzy explained:
I remember there was green light flooding in from the surface, my lungs hurt and the excitement was so heavy it almost felt like I couldn’t breathe. Though I knew I probably should have jumped out, I stayed down beneath the waves, facing this person who had this hypnotic hold over me – it was crazy.
