After a rather harsh year when it comes to politics, there are some lights at the end of the tunnel when it comes to equality thanks to initiaves like Hyrrs.
To end 2017 with a light note while still helping an important cause, the collective has made parodies of Christmas songs with a feminist twist. The main goal is to collect money to help Refuge, a charity that provides help and support to women and children who are experiencing domestic violence. About their release, creative officer Vicki Maguire stated:
From Weinstein and Westminster to salaries and sexism, 2017 has shown how appalling it can be for women. That’s why we now want to make a statement about kicking everyday inequality in the baubles this Christmas while raising money for an amazing cause that helps women.”

“Hyrrs” is out now and you can buy it here.
