After two successful EPs, the Icelandic quartet Vök are back with a new single “Show Me” where they show us how their music has evolved in the past four years. The song comes alongside a new video, the announcement of a new album and European tour.
Their debut album “Figure” will be out on April 28, and will showcase what we love most about them: dreamy-hazing electronic productions with melancholic pop sounds proper to the Northern European sound. The official video for “Show Me”, directed by Hörður Freyr Brynjarsson emphasizes this feeling even more as he uses the darkness of the Icelandic winter as a way to enlight the melancholy with neon-lights. Brightness not coming from nature and what surround us but coming from what’s in the inside.
