After 2021’s Number One and 2022’s Faster Than I Can Make, we’ve been eagerly awaiting her next move, and now it’s here, with a powerful story behind it.

Her upcoming album, A RUPTURE A CANYON A BIRTH, is the result of a life turned upside down: a near-fatal car accident, a breakup, and a vocal cord cancer diagnosis, all in quick succession. Written in the aftermath of these seismic shifts, the record explores fragility, mortality, and the unexpected energy that comes with surviving the unthinkable. It’s a synth-driven, beat-forward release that channels both chaos and catharsis, built to be felt as much as heard.
Leading the charge is its first single, “elastic”, a vibrant song blending retro house and synth pop, born from the adrenaline of performing right after that highway crash.“The experience unlocked something for me, and I felt I could perform with more freedom and abandon than ever before,” Bezic explains. “Here I imagine the audience as a lover, and under their gaze, life is filled with pure Dionysian possibility: an unrolling and malleable series of nows.” The song captures that raw intensity, with lyrics like “I wanna get closer to death, feel it shatter against my head… everything can stretch, everything is elastic!” A reminder of how fragile and expansive life can feel in a single moment. With its pulsing beat and fearless energy, “elastic” feels like a declaration of survival and transformation, a first taste of a new era that promises to be just as unflinching.
