Discovered a couple of months ago in our newcomer of the week column, alternative R&B artist Joël Lobban is back strong with new single “Stuck With Me”.
Inspired by artists of the flourishing Toronto scene such as Drake and The Weeknd, he takes electronic sounds into his soulful vocals creating a sensual and profound vibe. About the track, he explains:

“Stuck With Me” is basically about a girl I fell for too soon. I start off being mesmerized by her beauty, but later on I realize that she ain’t for me. It’s literally the span of a relationship I was in, from ‘Girl I’d slay dragons for you’ to ‘when do you leave?
