“Foreign Fields” is lifted from Kacy Hill‘s upcoming debut EP, Bloo, to be released October 9.
American model, singer, and songwriter Kacy Hill is on everyone’s lips. After having been signed on Kanye West‘s GOOD MUSIC label last year, she is now readying the release of her debut EP, Bloo. Following up on her debut single “Experience”, she has now returned with a delicate new track which recalls the production of James Blake to mind. Driven by her vulnerable yet captivating falsetto, “Foreign Fields” boasts on piano chords, cracking sounds, and abrupt electronic layers. It starts as an intimate bedroom track but her vocals eventually get drenched in reverb, turning the whole song into something majestic and much bigger.
