“I Can’t Wait” is taken from KARLITA‘s new EP, AMOR FABOLA, out via clipp.art.

Hailing from Montpellier, French producer and visual artist KARLITA follows up to her 2019 debut EP Lazydayz with another collection of lo-fi deep house tracks on Melbourne tastemaker label clipp.art. The 5-track project is titled AMOR FABOLA, which means “Love Story” in Latin. However, ‘Fabola’ can also mean “storytelling” or even “fantasize” in French. “This album tends to retrace the process of a romance, good or bad, to each his own interpretation,” she explained. While the EP is assuredly tailored for the dancefloor, it’s true that there’s a sense of melancholia, doubt and a cold sensuality guiding these hazy yet dance-y tracks.
