Sweden based singer/songwriter artist Kassandra unveils elegant single “No Longer Lovers” via Manifesto where she sings for all of those with ending relationships.
Written on the road in Sweden with fellow producer called Martin, the song came up as a way for the artist to exorcize that feeling of something that is inevitably ending. It brings something nocturnal without ever taken from us the light at the end of the tunnel. About the meaning behind the song, Kassandra explained:
“No Longer Lovers” is all about a relationship which has ended and me, the singer, am trying to move on while he’s still crying on my shoulder. It’s so weird that I’ve wrote those lyrics just before it all happened to me in real life.
