Fearless pop star Lao Ra released a new single titled “Bang Boom,” an explosive pop gem released via Black Butter Records. This is after her recent successes from her debut EP titled “Jesus Made Me Bad” and recent single “Drum Machine” which has hit more than 4 million streams on Spotify.
Her success train has also included stops such as a spot on Spotify’s Viral Charts, playing a sold-out show in London at the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen, touring with MØ, Rejjie Snow, Crystal Fighters and Anne-Marie.
Lao Ra states that “Bang Boom” is about bamboos and their deceptive strengths. She says, “It might bend, but it won’t break.” Her mantra “girl power in the jungle” also fits well with the description of a bamboo’s unstoppable nature once it has taken roots.
She also released the video of the track that you can watch below. You can follow her on Facebook, Spotify, Twitter and Instagram.
