Max Winter announces debut EP, shares “The Olympics”

A member of thredd and Nourished By Time’s live band, Max Winter announces his solo EP Mourning Routine via Secret Friend Records.

Max Winter is stepping forward with a bold new chapter in his career. Known for performing as part of Nourished By Time’s live band, he has also turned heads with his collaborative project thredd and contributed music to exhibitions at Tate Britain. The Trinity Laban–trained musician is now ready to unveil his solo EP Mourning Routine. Due out soon on Secret Friend Records, the release reflects on change, loss, and renewal, shaped by Winter’s classical and jazz background alongside his taste for adventurous production. Leading the way is the first single, “The Olympics,” available now with a limited vinyl edition, ahead of his headline show at Club Cheek, Brixton, on October 29. With its lively strings and layered textures, the song carry both energy and intimacy. Listen and support below.
