“Unreal” is taken from Mieux‘s debut album, Rulers, out now via Affine Records.
Austrian producer duo Mieux have just unveiled their debut album, where they jump from the techno of opening track “Params” to the grime of “In My Prime” and electronica of “Scape.” One of the highlights of the record, “Unreal” is a collaboration with South-London-based talent, and HighClouds favourite, Laura Groves. The retro-infused, glittering offering is a “song about exchanges of energy,” she explained. “The pitfalls of putting too much of it into a situation where you’re not receiving it back, however tempting it might be.”
Arnaud, a passionate music enthusiast from France, now based in Madrid, founded HighClouds in 2015. With an ear for the dreamy, the ethereal, and the unconventional, he thrives on discovering and sharing boundary-pushing sounds. If it’s weird, bold, and forward-thinking, you can bet he’s here for it.
