morgxn stands up for himself in “carry the weight”

After sharing the first single “Translucent” of his upcoming album “Vital” expected for May 18, Los Angeles-based artist morgxn shares “carry the weight”, the anthem he needed to survive.

The rising star shared his struggles with being queer nowadays and his new single works as an exorcism for all the negativity. “You can read me my right to tell me who I belong to, you can bury my strength but if it’s love it will find you give you more to hold on to it will carry the weight” he sings, to all of the people that ever try to drag him down. About the track, morgxn explained:

“carry the weight” is my personal anthem. and it exists because i am constantly learning to stand up for myself and for my family and friends. it can get messy. it can make no sense. but at the core – we are all learning to combine our sensitive voice with the weight of our personal strength. what if our voices feel stuck? what if we aren’t sure we have the strength?
