Long Island avant-pop band Mr Twin Sister are going to unveil their brand new album next week. So far, we’ve heard the amazing “Jaipur” and “Tops and Bottoms” and they have now shared a brand new song named “Alien FM”. Contrary to what you may believe, the track has nothing extraterrestrial; It’s actually a velvety offering loaded with soothing sax, drawing more from soft jazz than from cosmic and supernatural pop. Here, the alien reference stands for the lack of understanding that can eventually kill a romance as Andrea Estella sings “Alien FM, stale love / Interference again, stale love”. Tune in below.
