Nick Murphy gives a thought to ignorance in new track “Medication”

Artist Chet Faker came back to his original name Nick Murphy to create a more personal music, under his own patronyme. With a heavy political crisis going on in the world, he reflects on ignorance and its consequences.

Ahead of the start of the second leg of his US-EU tour, he decided to give us a last peak of what we can deliver. In between weird electronic beats and pop vibes, the artist gets deeper into his sound, proving that he still has something to prove. Challenging himself into something more honest, Nick Murphy stated about the track:

It’s a song about ignorance and flawed logic. I wanted to see what it was like writing about ego-fuelled confidence.
