Night Tapes announce debut album, share new single “Pacifico”

"Pacifico" is taken from Night Tapes' upcoming debut album, portals//polarities, out September 26 via Nettwerk Music Group.

If you haven’t heard of Night Tapes yet, you’re in for a treat. The London-based trio—Max, Sam, and Iiris— started out just making music together as housemates, recording late-night sessions to cassette tapes (which is where the name comes from). Their sound is this gorgeous blend of dreamy synths, lo-fi textures, and soft, ethereal vocals—perfect for late-night listening or zoning out on a quiet walk. Think dream pop meets ambient electronica, or Men I Trust meets Magdalena Bay. Yes, they’re that good.

They’ve just dropped a new single called “pacifico,” and it’s as lush and hypnotic as anything they’ve released so far. It’s a dreamy, slow-burn track that really leans into their crepuscular aesthetic. The best part? It’s a taste of their upcoming debut album, portals//polarities, which they’ve hinted will be “a sonic exploration of memory, connection, and presence.” The record is out in September.

The band will also be extensively touring North America, the UK, and Europe. Check the dates on their Instagram.
