NINA unleashes raw emotion on new track “Twink”

NINA's self-released new single, “Twink,” is out now.

Nina Cristante, best known as one-third of the London-based band bar italia, continues to forge her own path with her solo project, NINA. This year, she released Discordia, a brooding EP created in collaboration with Orazio Argentero, as well as the single and video “Till the Devil Gets Bored.” Now, she’s back with “Twink.”

Co-written with Argentero and produced alongside Elliot Heinrich, the track pairs tangled guitars with stripped-down lyrical honesty. She sings, “Cry yourself blind / But leave hating to me,” with an intensity that feels like an open wound. The lyrics chart a quiet devastation. Conversations, misunderstandings, and emotional residue, all rendered in her signature shadowy minimalism. We recently caught her live in Madrid, where she delivered a raw, theatrical performance, and that same energy pulses through “Twink.”
