Like much of their work, R.Missing‘s newest song is mysterious and eerie. Deadpan vocals are sung throughout it, coupled flawlessly with synth-based production.
R. Missing is a shadowy electronic duo known for their moody, noir-tinged sound that blends synthpop, coldwave, and dreamlike vocals. With an elusive presence and cinematic aesthetic, they’ve cultivated a mystique that matches their music: elegant, melancholic, and always a little bit off-kilter.
The band has long been releasing their work, single by single, rather than in albums. Their previous three songs from earlier in 2025, “Pony Yeah,” “Dear Contests,” and “Telepolartears” are also excellent and are very much worth checking out.
