With her sophomore album long-awaited by her fans and industry experts, London-based artist Rachel Foxx shared “To You” as a followup to her earlier single “Make You Say.” The two tracks are definitely contrasting in styles, with her latest offering towing the sultry line.
With her soulful and captivating vocals backed up remarkably by a soft and sensual production, “To You” is a melting-pot of classic, old school R&B in a modern vibe, thanks to the singer’s gifted songwriting and vocal prowess.
Rachel explained about the song:
It’s my favourite song on my “Blue Moon” EP. “To You” is about love, passion and sex. I usually write about depressing stuff, but this song is different, it’s about excitement, and still being fascinated by love, still having faith, no matter how many times you have been fucked over in the past.
