“By Your Side” is taken from Sofia Kourtesis‘s new EP, Fresia Magdalena, out March 19 on Ninja Tune‘s Technicolour Records.
After the percussive lead single “La Perla,” where she was using her voice for the first time, Berlin-via-Lima producer Sofia Kourtesis unveils a new track off her upcoming EP Fresia Magdalena. “More rooted in Kourtesis’ native Peru than ever,” these five tracks include field recordings from the surroundings of Lima, where her family currently live. The hypnotic groove of “By Your Side” somehow evokes the life of an urban area at night. Listen below and pre-order the EP via Bandcamp.
