These names join an already stacked lineup that includes the return of Blood Orange, Four Tet, A. G. Cook, and Nicolas Jaar (in a unique collaboration with Ali Sethi). Rising stars Saya Gray and Nourished By Time, genre-bending acts like Ecco2k, and sonic visionaries such as John Maus, Djrum, and Skee Mask round out the list of artists who’ll take over Turin’s Lingotto Fiere and OGR Torino this autumn.

Now in its 23rd edition, C2C Festival (formerly Club To Club) will take place from 30 October to 2 November 2025, coinciding with Turin’s Contemporary Art Week. This year’s theme, Per Aspera Ad Astra, is dedicated to the late Sergio Ricciardone and promises a vibrant celebration of avant-pop in all its forms.

This is hands down one of the best music events in Europe. Why? Because for over two decades, C2C has been curating lineups that reads like a map of where music is going next. Before they became household names, artists like James Blake, Arca, and Blood Orange played early sets here. It’s the kind of festival that rewards curiosity and discovery and where the artist you’ve never heard of might end up blowing your mind.

In 2025, C2C Festival is already shaping up to be another unforgettable edition.

This year, as usual, fans of avant-pop, electronic and experimental music will be pleased once again. A. G. Cook returns with his hyper-pop wizardry, while Four Tet and Skee Mask bring their genre-blurring, shape-shifting club genius to the stage. Nicolas Jaar teams up with Ali Sethi for what’s bound to be a haunting, beautiful collision of sound and tradition. And yes, Blood Orange — one of the festival’s breakout alumni — is back, full circle.

The rest of the lineup is no less thrilling: experimental mainstays like John Maus, Jenny Hval, and DJrum; rising voices like Saya Gray, Nourished By Time, and Florence Sinclair; the theatrical intensity of Model/Actriz; and the lush ambient electronics of French producer Malibu.

You’ll also catch Isabella Lovestory’s explosive energy, Daniel Blumberg’s raw songwriting, and the boundary-pushing duo IOSONOUNCANE & Daniela Pes. Finally, don’t miss Ecco2k, the enigmatic YHWH Nailgun, or Titanic — Mabe Fratti and I la Católica’s new collaborative project. And there’s still more to be announced.

I guess that you got it: it’s the kind of lineup that doesn’t spoon-feed you the obvious. It challenges you, surprises you, and leaves you thinking long after the lights come up.

Through hardship to the stars

This year’s edition also carries a deeper emotional weight. C2C has announced its 2025 theme: “Per aspera ad astra” — through hardship to the stars — a tribute to the festival’s late founder and director, Sergio Ricciardone, who passed away in March. Ricciardone’s vision helped shape C2C into the singular event it is today — a space where music, art, and culture are always in motion, always reaching for something greater. Jamie xx was among those who honored his memory recently as he dedicated a touching moment to Sergio during his recent show in Milan.

A few days ago, we read with sadness that PC Music, the groundbreaking label created by A.G. Cook in 2013, will stop releasing new music after this year, promising nevertheless “an undisclosed number of new albums and singles coming very soon.”

The poster girl of the iconic roster, Hannah Diamond just returned with her glittering new single, “Affirmations”. The electro-pop bop is an ode to self-love. And as would say a great philosopher of our times, “if you don’t love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?”

“I’ve always struggled on and off with having a negative view of myself so at some point last year I decided that every day when I was struggling to write five good things about myself and add them to my wall,” explained Diamond, about the origins of the track. “During this time I was also spending lots of time on zoom writing with [producer] David Gamson and one day my carefully tilted monitor had moved to reveal my wall of positive affirmations. Dave was curious to what all my notes meant and when I introduced him to my practice he said, ‘Hey ‘Affirmations’ – great song title!’”

Still, questions remain: Will the London-based multidisciplinary artist release a sophomore album? And will that record be one of the forthcoming releases PC Music hinted about in their statement? Only time will tell. For now, what are you waiting for to cherish yourself?

It has been almost three years since A. G. Cook released a track in solo; his last offering being the standalone single “Superstar” back in 2016. The PC Music founder and mastermind is now back with a new track, “Lifeline”, which also features vocals from Caroline Polachek. It’s not the first time that the two artists connect: Cook produced “Tears”, her duo with Charli XCX, and he is also the co-producer of her solo debut album Pang, coming later this year.

About his new track, A. G. Cook stated:

[su_quote]The melody at the core of ‘Lifeline’ is this repetitive, insistent and slightly selfish earworm that I’ve been living with for too long now. In the end, the easiest way to deal with it was to leave it in a warm petri dish and let it do its own thing. A few years later I found myself with this young, unstable song, and somehow nurtured it to become a power ballad. The track has a life of its own, but like most children and laboratory experiments, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.[/su_quote]

Known as Chairlift‘s former vocalist, Caroline Polachek is now going solo as the band split up in 2017. After a series of collaborations and parallel projects under some other monikers, Polachek has recently decided to release music under her own name. Following up on the bewitching “Door“, here are two new singles from her upcoming debut album, both co-written and produced by Danny L Harle.

Inspired by a dream in which Polachek imagined her own death, “Parachute” was the first song of the record to be written. “It is about the total trust that only comes with total emergency. Like a mayfly trying its wings for the first time over a large body of water full of hungry fish… and the wings work,” she explains.

On the contrary, “Ocean Of Tears” was the last song to be completed. It is dedicated to “the sharp pain of being in love with someone far away, and the maddening doubt that comes with it” and was co-produced by Polachek, Danny L Harle, Valley Girl and A. G. Cook. 

As the first single released after announcing her highly anticipated third studio album titled Charli, “Gone” evokes the restless thoughts and feelings of feeling like a stranger to the world. In comparison to the upbeat banger “1999” with Troye Sivan, and the more sonically radio-friendly “Blame It On Your Love” featuring Lizzo (which has been a track in the making for several years now), “Gone” presents itself as a timeless synth-pop track polished in its own unique form for all the like-minded people who just feel as if they don’t belong. 

There’s something blissfully manic about the single — from the rigid basslines to the glitchy vocal outro, the songs lonesome and self-isolating narrative contradictory provides comfort and relatability. “I feel so unstable f***ing hate these people, how they’re making me feel lately, they’re making me weird lately,” she bluntly sings. 

Charli XCX gives us a promising glimpse of what’s to come on her self-titled record. With heavy production by PC Music head A.G. Cook, “Gone” revisits the sound Charli once delivered with her critically acclaimed mixtape Pop 2, where the meaning of pop music was redefined and reconstructed. 

The release of “Gone” was accompanied by the premiere of a sultry and intimate music video where Charli XCX and Chris (from Christine and the Queens) are seen embracing one anothers independence from “fitting” in with social cliques under pouring rain and surrounded by flames. The director of the video, Colin Solal Cardo, also directed videos for artists like Robyn – remnants of such choreographical and passionate dancing and singing can be seen between the two talents. Rumours were true. After having shared the visuals for “5 in the Morning“, Charli XCX has unveiled two brand new tracks which deepen her collaboration with PC Music. While our favourite “Focus” was produced by A. G. Cook and Swedish producer duo Jack and Coke, “No Angel” was crafted by The Invisible Men and SOPHIE.

A. G. Cook was one of the guests of NTS Radio for their 12-hour long Liminal takeover. The producer, whose real name is Alexander Guy Cook, dropped his contribution online and it features a lot of remixes including his take on Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” (4:17) and Rihanna’s “We Found Love” (43:04) as well as two Sigur Rós tracks. Riding the online buzz of Grimes and Elon Musk union, he also transformed “Flesh Without Blood” and called it “Flesh Without Musk.” You can hear it around the 49 minute mark.
