Anderson .Paak performs 2 Malibu’s tracks on “Le Grand Journal”

Arnaud Marty — Mon, 18 Jan 2016 20:59:56 +0000

[su_dropcap style=”simple”]L[/su_dropcap]ast Friday, Anderson .Paak released his new album “Malibu” and he will be soon on tour in order to support this new project. If you wonder how good this Californian artist is on stage, you should definitely watch the performance he recently made on French TV show Le Grand Journal.

Indeed, this is with a lot of ease and groove that Anderson .Paak performed while dancing “Am I Wrong” and “Come Down”. The singer and producer also showed off his skills as a drummer. He paid tribute to David Bowie at the end of “Am I Wrong” by covering a short part of “Let’s Dance”.

Am I Wrong:

Anderson.Paak – Am I Wrong – Le live du 15/01

Come Down:

If you are interested in going to see him live, you should check the dates of his tour. For our friends of Brussels, the artist will be playing at Le Botanique on February 11.

David Bowie – Lazarus

Matias Calderon — Thu, 07 Jan 2016 08:30:56 +0000

[su_dropcap style=”simple”]A[/su_dropcap]fter the release of a short preview yesterday and the audio a few weeks ago, rock legend David Bowie shared the video for his new track “Lazarus taken from his new album “Blackstar” due to be released on the date of his birthday which means tomorrow January 8 via RCA Records

[su_youtube url=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-JqH1M4Ya8″]

Known for his craziness, David Bowie imagines himself behind in his bed blindfolded and then dancing like no one cares. Embracing his status as an icon, the artist shows another time how much of a genius he is, with a track that goes in between his rock roots with jazz experimentations. We can’t wait to be tomorrow and we wish to David an early Happy Birthday ! You can pre-order his album here

David Bowie – Lazarus

Matias Calderon — Thu, 17 Dec 2015 18:18:58 +0000

[su_dropcap style=”simple”]I[/su_dropcap]con David Bowie shared a new song coming from his forthcoming album “Blackstar” or “★” due to be released January 8 via RCA Records. He started teasing “Lazarus” a few days ago, now we have the full version

[su_youtube url=”https://youtu.be/ZSt9RDIIa0k”]

In this 6 minutes track, David Bowie shows the extent of his talent going from more rock influences to jazz and shoegaze. As said in Youtube, the video should be premiered the day before the release of the album so January 7 and it should follows his first amazing single “Blackstar” that took the 48th place in our top 100 of the best tracks of 2015. For now, you can check the photo he shared on Facebook to promote “Lazarus” with the lyrics below :

Look up here, I’m in heaven
I’ve got scars that can’t be seen
I’ve got drama, can’t be stolen
Everybody knows me now
Look up here, man, I’m in danger
I’ve got nothing left to lose
I’m so high it makes my brain whirl
Dropped my cell phone down below
Ain’t that just like me
By the time I got to New York
I was living like a king
Then I used up all my money
I was looking for your ass
This way or no way
You know, I’ll be free
Just like that bluebird
Now ain’t that just like me
Oh I’ll be free
Just like that bluebird
Oh I’ll be free
Ain’t that just like me
