We have been following the career of British artist Ripsy May since the very beginning with her track “Black Wine” and “When In Love.” So when she released her third track “Dare,” we of course felt obligated to write about it since we truly believe in her.
Co-written and produced by The Palms, the now Los Angeles-based artist reach another point in her artistic path, since he debuted her directing career in collaboration with Tigran Tovmasyan. Filmed in New Mexico, the video is simply beautiful, giving to the track a steamy vibe as the video takes place in the desert. About “Dare”, Ripsy May explained:
I wanted to use a different part of my voice for this song, and strain it in a way that reflected what I was singing about – disappointment from someone you love.
As a growing artist, we are truly excited to follow her career, and we honestly believe that 2017 will be her year. You can follow Ripsy May on Facebook, Twitter and Soundcloud. You can listen to the audio below.
