Writing about weed in hip-hop is nothing but common, but few have the flow as California based rapper Wes Period who just shared the overflowing “Everything Is Trees” where he deals with the struggle of sharing your weed with your friends to the point of not having more of it.
As a first single to announce the release of his upcoming album due this fall, “Everything Is Trees” is about bragging, smoking too much and being out of it. Nothing really extraordinary, but the rap is on point, the production by SuperCookies is outstanding and the features of fellow Squad ThIQ member and Cliftun add something more extra-special to the track.
