We are never going to refuse some good pop coming from Scandinavia since it is basically our favorite place to look for forward-thinking music. Wildhart is no exception to that rule as they have develop in time their unique sense of experimenting pop with others genres. They recently shared their track “Shake Off” as the lead single for their upcoming debut album “Shine.”
In between some sexual dark pop and intriguing explorations on jazz and indie rock, the Gothenburg-based trio gives the idea on why we are so fascinated with everything coming from the North, because, for them, pop seems to come so easily and experimentation as part of their way of living.

The trio told about the very feminist message of the track:

Shake Off is a fuck you to all the hardships that you carry inside when living in an patriarchic world… It’s a cry of frustration — but at the same time an anthem, a source to find strength in.

Let’s scream all together with them “Don’t let any man, ever hold you back, don’t let him cut your wings, or pull you off the track.” Their debut album “Shine” will be released on 11th of November via Swedish label Gaphals. You can follow them on Facebook and Soundcloud.
